Bob Dreisewerd

President and Chief Executive Officer

Bob joined Baron in 2006 and has over 30 years of experience in the commercial weather services industry. He is a 1991 graduate of the University of Missouri with a degree in Atmospheric Science. He spent the first 15 years of his career working directly in the field of commercial weather forecast services. While employed at Surface Systems, Inc he served as a Staff Forecaster/Software Developer, Weather Services Manager, and Director of Operations. Bob was previously the Baron Chief Development Officer in which he provided leadership and direction on all corporate research and development of new and innovative weather detection technologies, weather data products, and weather display solutions. Notable examples include Baron Lynx, Baron GEN3 weather radar solutions, and the Baron Weather API.  In his role as President and Chief Executive Officer, Bob is responsible for setting and executing the strategic, financial, and operational goals of the organization to foster the culture of weather innovation to achieve strong corporate growth and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Mike Mougey

Michael Mougey

Chief Revenue Officer and President of Broadcast

Michael joined Baron in 2012. He has over 30 years of experience in the advertising and sales business, having worked as a Local, National, and General Sales Manager for individual stations within Belo and Media General. He was Director of National Sales with the Media General Broadcast Group, and he also worked as Senior VP of the Southeast region for Blair Television. In his time with Baron, Michael has played a major role in expanding the company’s broadcast market share to include more than 200 stations. He spearheaded a significant effort to expand customer service and focus on improving the customer journey. In his role as Chief Revenue Officer, Michael works with broadcasters, private enterprises, and government organizations implementing Baron solutions to best deliver critical weather intelligence to their customers, viewers, and citizens.

Sherman Wilcox leadership

Sherman Wilcox

Chief Development Officer

Sherman has been with Baron since 2003 and he brings more than 20 years of software development experience to the company. During his at time Baron, Sherman has overseen the development of major programs and products including Lynx, Omni, VIPIR, the Baron Weather API, and Baron alerting technologies. Sherman has a B.S. in Computer Science and is skilled in many languages and technologies including C++, Python, SQL, and more.

Kim Grantham

Vice President of Marketing

Kim Grantham has over 25 years of experience in marketing communications and strategic marketing and brand management working with technology companies. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts. Post-graduation, Kim began her career working for Universal Data Systems, a Motorola Company, writing and producing the internal newsletter to strengthen internal communications and employee brand adoption. Kim worked at Intergraph Corporation, a global engineering software company as a Marketing Communications Manager. At Baron, Kim is responsible for marketing strategy, brand management and guiding Baron’s award-winning in-house marketing and design department. Kim is a graduate of the 2014 Leadership Management Academy.

Marc Krasner

Vice President of Enterprise

Marc brings 20 years of experience in account acquisition, new business and territory development, sales forecasting, and market penetration. He will leverage more than two decades of leadership, business development, and marketing expertise to accelerate revenue growth across multiple verticals. He brings a unique experience to Baron where he will work with executive leadership to establish strategic goals and objectives for the Enterprise Weather group. He is responsible for leading and accelerating growth for the division as well.

Tony Brugett of Baron Weather

Tony Burgett

Vice President of Operations

Tony is responsible for leading radar operations, including engineering, production, support, logistics, and quality control. He will also drive deployment, and lead Baron’s highly technical teams to solve complex business problems, and drive transformation. He brings with him years of experience within the U.S. Department of Defense and will leverage more than 30 years of operational excellence in program management, business development, and engineering expertise. Tony studied engineering design at Wallace State College in Alabama and at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

Kelly Johnson

Controller and Vice President of Finance

Kelly joins Baron with more than 20 years of experience in a broad range of accounting and financial activities including general ledger accounting, financial reporting, payroll, internal controls, and external auditing of financial statements. A graduate of the University of Alabama, Kelly has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, a Master of Accountancy and is a CPA. She is responsible for directing Baron’s accounting functions, including establishing and maintaining the organization's accounting principles, practices, and procedures in accordance with GAAP.

Jon Tarleton

Vice President of Integrated Weather Systems

Jon joined Baron in 2021 as Vice President of Integrated Weather Systems. He brings over 20 years of sales and marketing experience in the weather industry, including stops at Vaisala and Quixote. Jon is responsible for selling Baron’s innovative line of Doppler radar, numerical weather prediction, and fully integrated solutions for countries developing and expanding their national weather infrastructure. Jon graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Atmospheric Sciences.

Tony Westenhofer

Vice President of Information Technology & Production


Tony has been working as an IT professional for over twenty years, having received an Associate of Applied Science and a Bachelor of Science, with a focus on network engineering and network management. Tony has been with Baron since 2005. In that time, he has been instrumental in advancing Baron’s internal information technology solutions, ensuring uninterrupted data flow, establishing a robust internal IT environment, and improving Baron’s production process. In his role as Vice President of Information Technology and Production, Tony is responsible for corporate strategy, execution, and adherence to all internal and external information technology and security solutions. Stewardship of information technology and security has become critical in today’s age of rapid technological advancements, Tony will provide the leadership necessary to ensure the integrity of our systems, data, and security.
