Advances in Modeling Flood Inundation For Operational Forecasting
Baron Chief Scientist John McHenry, who also serves as Chair of the American Meteorological Society Committee on Hydrology, wrote an article entitled “Advances in Modeling Flood Inundation for Operational Forecasting” that was published in the National Hydrologic Warning Council Newsletter Transmission.
The National Hydrologic Warning Council has members worldwide and is committed to helping communities effectively use hydrologic information and warnings to protect lives, property and the environment. The council’s mission is to provide education, training and standards for the generation, delivery, and use of timely reliable hydrologic information.
